Luxor 2 days Tour with Hot Air Balloon

Day 1:

Your adventure begins at approximately 5:00 AM, when we pick you up from your hotel in a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle. We’ll drive to Luxor, where the exploration begins with a visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple. With our knowledgeable guide, you will discover this vast open-air museum, home to temples built by several ancient Egyptian rulers. We ensure tickets are pre-purchased to skip queues and make the visit as smooth as possible. The Karnak complex, the largest in Egypt, will take about 2 hours to fully explore.

Next, we visit the Luxor Temple, the heart of the Opet Festival in ancient times. Built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, this temple was dedicated to the gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. After exploring these ancient wonders, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before checking into a luxurious 5-star hotel in Luxor for a restful night.

Day 2:

Wake up early for the most exciting part of the tour: the hot air balloon ride. After checking out from the hotel, you’ll cross the Nile to meet your balloon pilot and crew. Watch the balloon inflate and climb aboard for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As you drift above Luxor’s breathtaking landscapes, you’ll see the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the lush fields surrounding the local villages from a bird’s-eye view.

Once you land, your Egyptologist guide will be waiting to take you on a journey through some of the most important historical sites in Luxor. Start with the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of ancient Egyptian kings are carved into the desert rock. You’ll explore the intricate decorations and architecture that have withstood the test of time, with visits to three famous tombs, including those of Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, and Thutmosis III.

Next, visit the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of ancient Egypt, known for her impressive reign and unique architectural style. Finally, pass by the imposing Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that have stood guard over the Theban necropolis for thousands of years.

After a fulfilling day of exploration, enjoy lunch and a scenic drive back to your hotel in Hurghada, bringing an end to your unforgettable 2-day adventure.
